"He who plants trees, loves others besides himself"

What can be a better way to celebrate National Doctor’s Day than by planting trees. In association with Rotary Club Talegaon, a Tree plantation program was organized today at the Empros International School, Talegaon.

Tree plantation was carried out in order to pay tribute to the doctors who just like trees strive so hard in order to give us pink health and environment. The members of the one of the oldest social clubs of the country the “Rotary Club”. Graced the event and made it even more august.

Shri MangeshGarole, The President, Rotary Club, Shri VishwanathMarathe, Secretary, Shri BalasahebChavan, Treasurer, Shri Sanjay Patva, Dr Mane of Atharva Hospital, Talegaon and Shri Prasad Mungi, graced the occasion with their presence. Shri MangeshGarole, President of Rotary Club Talegaon, addressed the students and appreciated the efforts put in by the school Management and staff in the school development programs. He advised the students to manage their time well and also suggested to lend their helping hands in the protection of our environment and plant as many saplings   as possible and thereby help in creating a good ecological balance in nature.

This was uniquely exemplified by the students of Empros International School themselves planting the saplings along with the guests on the occasion of the National Doctor’s Day celebration.  At Empros this is a regular practice wherein each student is given a sapling which they plant in the school campus on their birthdays and on National festival days every month.

Dr Mane in his advice to the students reiterated that all children must take a promise not to eat chocolates and fast food items and that they must eat more fruits and vegetables to keep themselves healthy and strong. He further emphasized that every school must lay more stress on character building and ensure that good moral values are imbibed by the students who later would grow up into good human beings.

This message was unanimously accepted and applauded by the students and staff of the school and promised that this will be implemented with immediate effect.

The program concluded with the felicitation of the guests who were extremely happy to be a part of the celebration in a school such as Empros International School which promises to cater to the need and requirements of student community of Talegaon.
